Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a first-time cruiser, we’ve gathered helpful tips and key details to ensure your experience is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. What to Bring
Make sure to bring your passport or ID, as it is required by port authorities. Sunglasses and a hat will help protect you from the sun, while a beach towel is essential for wherever you sit on board and for drying off after a swim. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen, preferably a non-oil-based one, to help preserve the boat’s wood finish. If you own an underwater camera, bring it along to capture amazing moments beneath the waves.
How to Dress for the Day
For a comfortable and enjoyable day on the water, we recommend dressing appropriately. Opt for light, breathable summer clothing to stay cool under the sun. Be sure to bring swimwear, as you’ll want to dive into the crystal-clear waters. For relaxation, a light beach cover-up is a great addition. Flip-flops or sandals are ideal, though you’ll need to remove them when boarding, as you’ll be barefoot for the day. If you’re cruising early or late in the season, consider bringing a windbreaker for added warmth.
Food & Drinks
Our services are all-inclusive. Your hostesses on board will cook-up a delicious Greek-style lunch on your day. Everything is freshly prepared on board. Our meals are vegetarian friendly too. Should you have any specific dietary requirements, kindly advise when booking so that we can plan accordingly for you. Water, coffee, ice-cold refreshments and house wine, will be offered to you on your day.
Music
On our day sailing boat trips, we offer music to complement your experience. We have a wide selection of playlists that will play softly throughout the day. Please rest assured, we keep the volume low to maintain a relaxed atmosphere and enhance the mood of the sailing experience without overwhelming it.
Swimming & Snorkeling
We provide snorkeling gear as part of our services. Our sailing boats are equipped with complimentary snorkeling gear for you to use. If you’re a snorkeling enthusiast and prefer to use your own equipment, feel free to bring it along.
Pets
Please note that pets are not allowed on board.
Safety Equipment
As a commercial boat company, we adhere to all safety regulations set by Greek Maritime Law. Life vests are provided for all passengers on board. If you feel more comfortable swimming with a life vest, please feel free to request one. Additionally, if you are a non-swimmer, we kindly ask that you inform the crew for your safety.
W.C. facilities
Our sailing boats are equipped with toilet facilities for your convenience.
Weather may affect your trip
All our sailing cruises are subject to weather conditions. If our experienced captains determine that sailing is not possible on your scheduled day, we will offer you an alternative date. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend not booking your day cruise on your last day before departing from Kos Island. As the saying goes, “We can adjust our sails, but we cannot control the wind.” 😉
Shading on Board
A shaded Bimini (canopy) is available in the cockpit area during the day, and there is also partial shade provided under the sails.
Children on Board
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted on our Semi-Private Cruises. For Private or Family Cruises, parents are solely responsible for supervising their children. Please note, the crew is not responsible for childcare or supervision during the trip.
